Methodology: ACM0002 Grid-connected electricity generation from renewable sources
Description: Expected commissioning date of the project is 2026. The target of the project is to install and operate a Hydroelectric Power Plant with 170 MW gross capacity. The electricity produced by project activity will result in an annual average emission reduction of 547,489 tonnes of CO2e in estimation. Expected total emission reduction amount over the first crediting period is 5,474,895 tCO2.
Purposes of this Project:
- To decrease GHG emissions by using renewable sources
- To reduce air pollutants by staying away from fossil fuel sources
- To contribute the economic development and sustainable development
