Project Location: The project is located in Türkiye, in the boundaries of Afyon province.
Methodology: AM0073: GHG emission reductions through multi-site manure collection and treatment in a central plant
Description: The facility has an installed capacity of 8.4 MWe. The Afyon 1 Biogas Power Plant, both the wastes will be evaluated, and electricity energy will be produced, and the fermented product will be obtained, causing the farmers to get productive crops on their agricultural lands. It is estimated that the project help reduce the carbon emissions by 158,484 tons annually. The total emission reduction for the whole crediting period is calculated as 1,584,836 tonnes of CO2. The project is expected to contribute 4 SDGs which are SDG 3, 7, 8 and 13.
